Who we are
Tent-Acles! is a brand of Five18 Enterprises, 407 N Pacific Coast Hwy, Unit 1218, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States. Questions about anything on this page can go to hello@tent-acles.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults. Our products are made for children aged 3 to 12, but we sell to, and correspond with, their grown-ups.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a child submits an email address, a drawing or any other personal detail, we delete it on discovery. If you believe your child has given us information, email us and we will remove it. Where we invite children's drawings or submissions in future, they will be accepted only through a parent or guardian's account and with that adult's explicit consent.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the mailing list. That's all the list needs.
- Order information, if you buy something — name, shipping address, email, and what you ordered.
- Anything you write to us by email or through a form on the site.
- Basic analytics — pages visited, roughly where in the world from, what device, and which site sent you. This is aggregate; it isn't used to build a profile of you.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own systems. The card number does not touch this website.
Why we collect it
- To send you the emails you asked for, and to stop when you ask us to.
- To take, ship and support your order.
- To answer you when you write in.
- To understand which pages are useful, so we make better ones.
Who it is shared with
We use a small number of outside services, and each gets only what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Printify — printing and shipping merchandise; receives your name and shipping address.
- Netlify — hosting and form submissions.
- Cloudflare — domain and network routing.
- Our email platform — sending the newsletter.
- Google Analytics — aggregate site statistics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We will disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, and no further than it requires.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and, once the shop opens, to remember what's in your cart. You can refuse or delete them in your browser; the site still works, we just see less about how it's being used.
How long we keep it
Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake. Orders: as long as tax and accounting rules require, currently seven years. Correspondence: until it's no longer useful to keep.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it corrected, or ask us to delete it. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you those rights explicitly, along with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If you are in the UK or EU, the GDPR does the same.

Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for anything significant, say so in the newsletter rather than hoping you re-read the page.
